Privacy statement

This website belongs to Daphne Merel, artist. I handle your details with care and collect no more than necessary.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, the subject and your message. The message arrives in my email (Gmail, by Google). I only use these details to answer your question and, if relevant, to arrange a commission with you. I keep them no longer than needed and do not share them with anyone. You can also email me directly or send a message on Instagram.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Vercel. As with any website, technical details such as your IP address and the time of your visit are stored briefly to keep the site secure and working.

Cookies and statistics

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies and no visitor statistics. The fonts are served from the website itself.

Google Maps

An exhibition may show a small map. It is only loaded from Google when you click View location. Only then can Google receive details such as your IP address and set its own cookies; see Google's privacy policy.

Links to other websites

Links to, for example, Instagram or a museum's website open another website, where that website's privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You can always ask which details I hold about you, and have them corrected or deleted. Email daphnemerelinfo@gmail.com. If you disagree with how I handle your details, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
